NGC40
20.01.2006 21:00 UTC
A very bright core. A foggy halo revealed itself only with averted vision. With 115x this planetary was wery much starlike and I had to check from HNSky to be sure that I was looking at a right target. When I was sure, I added some magnification and NGC40 started to look like a planetary nebula. When I stared this object for I while, momentarily it seemed like a galaxy. because now and then I saw something like "spiral arms" in the halo.
