M1

From my first active season, spring 2005, I was fascinated by this nebula, because of the fact that it is a true supernova remant!! I was in believe that M1 is a wery hard target and visible only in great conditions. So I literally got out of breath and my heart stopped to beat for a second, when it "jumped" into my eyepiece. There was no need for an averted vision or other known tricks, it just was there for me to observe. Ok, the conditions were excellent, but later I have seen, that actually M1 is an easy target.
