M51 (NGC 5194) and NGC5195

This galaxy is the galaxy for me. I just can't get enough of it. I remember observing M51 last spring with my observing buddy vesa kankare with his 8" newt, when it was near zenith. I got as much detail out of my 12" dob altough M51 was approximately 25 degrees above horizon. Galaxies scream for more aperture... I am most definiely coming back to this one, once it gets higher late next winter. I forgot to mark orientation here, but i promise to be more careful next time.
